About a decade ago, Jott emerged in the mobile voice-to-text space. This technology is very revolutionary, and it is the product of years of research. Today, consumers almost take voice-to-text communication services for granted, but speech recognition was actually a big breakthrough. A few years ago, consumers may have been familiar with this brand. These days, not so much.
Jott Integrates with Nuance
However, Jott was integrated into Nuance, and the actual Jott services ended in 2011. Even though the company enjoyed success, they decided to continue as part of a broader set of services. The team did not really end, but it did merge.
